As noted in the previous response, I got a warning for violating the Quora Be Nice, Be Respectful policy. I acknowledged the warning and was indeed nice and respectful in all answers moving forward.

But since my new nice and respectful responses were flagged as spam and being abusive, which they were not, my account was banned.

In the article I wrote, I was not bound by that Quora policy, so I could indeed use more pejorative terms to refer to believers in the flat earth doctrine.
